Principal's Message
Welcome to Castle Heights Elementary School,
It is a privilege to welcome you to Castle Heights Elementary. As principal, I am honored to serve a school community that is committed to students, supportive of families, and dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning.
At Castle Heights, we are proud to be the home of the Noble Knights. Our mission is to foster a community where everyone thrives: learners today, leaders tomorrow. We believe school should help children grow not only academically, but also in character. Each day, we work to teach and reinforce responsibility, respect, safety, and kindness while helping students develop accountability for their choices, actions, and learning.
Our staff is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and grow as leaders. We also know that a partnership between home and school is essential. We encourage families to support our parent engagement focuses by helping students attend school all day, every day, reading together at home, and promoting healthy habits that support learning and well-being.
On a personal note, my husband, Scott, and I are Wilson County natives, and Lebanon is my hometown. I am proud to be a product of both the Lebanon Special School District and Wilson County Schools. Our son, Elliott, his wife, Erin, and our granddaughter, Ivy, also call Lebanon home. Our family is grateful to be part of a community that values its schools and invests in children.
Thank you for the trust you place in Castle Heights. We are honored to serve your family and look forward to working together to make this a successful and meaningful school year for every child.
Sincerely,
Julie L. Benson,
Principal
