It is hard to believe that we are down to the last two weeks of school. Thank you to parents, students, and teachers for all the work we have completed this year. I will be busy with end of the year activities and helping teachers wrap up the end of the year.
This week is teacher appreciation week. I want to thank all the parents that support our great staff. I also want to thank all the teachers for the great work they have provided to all our students. Castle Heights is a wonderful school and I am honored to be a part of it.
This is the week for our students to demonstrate how much they have learned this year. I know they will do an awesome job!
There will be many review activities as we get ready to take T-CAP and SAT-10 next week. If you can volunteer to proctor during test week, please contact the Castle Heights office.
Our students in 2nd through 5th grade will be taking their tests in two weeks. Our teachers have been busy teaching and are reviewing for the tests. Have your students here everyday, so they will be refreshed and ready to demonstrate all they have learned this school year.

It is hard to believe that we are starting our last nine weeks. There will be many activities to complete before the end of the year. Please try to have your child at school every day so they do not miss any instruction, evaluations, or celebrations.
Have a great break and read a good book!
There are many important activities this week. Read Me Day is Monday. Parent conferences are Tuesday afternoon. Report cards go home on Wednesday. Awards Day and the play are on Thursday.
We had 13 entries for the Invention Convention. Congratulations to all the EXTEND students who entered. Castle Heights received three awards at the convention and everyone received a certificate. We had a wonderful experience creating and displaying our ideas.
