Community Event, Empty Bowls

It is almost time for the Second Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser to benefit the Wilson County Help Center.

The fundraiser will take place at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 5 from 11:00-2:00.

Tickets for the event are $20 and include lunch, as well as your choice of a handmade or hand-painted bowl.

Proceeds from the event directly benefit Wilson County residents, and the Help Center continually serves our students and their families.

Please e-mail me if you would like to purchase a ticket. The event is really fun, and SO many people you know will be there. Our own Janet Romano and Debbie Vaughn serve on the Help Center Board, as well as former art teacher, Linda Erwin. They all have tickets available, so you may also contact them.

Thanks in advance for supporting this worthy cause! I hope to see you there.
